Oak Leaf Publishing announced today that it will not be publishing the 2006 Edition of the Charming Tails Price Guide. In addition, it will not be offering the 2006 Wish List or the update for the Collectibles database. For the complete announcement, please click here. Features: Eighth Edition. Oak Leaf Publishing has announced the 2006 Edition, which covers the Charming Tails pieces released between April 2004 and January 2006. NOTE: This Edition is an "addition" to the Charming Tails Guides. In order to have a complete listing of all Charming Tails Guides, collectors need to have both the 2004 and 2006 Editions. For the new Charming Tails pieces, the Guide includes each piece's numbers, year of introduction, the year retired, current status, the original release price and the current market value. The Guide also includes a "Master Index" which lists EVERY Charming Tails piece, its product number, where its photograph is found and their current secondary market value. There is also "What's Happening in 2006..." which includes a lot of information about what is happening with Charming Tails this year, numerous special events, club membership and more. Publication date: (2000 never released). This is the only known picture that I'm aware of as to what the book would have looked like had it been published. As of Jan. 01, 2001, Greenbook is now called Village Chronicle and only publishes a guide for Dept. 56. This book was never released.
Features: First edition. Color photos, product number, title and description of each item, along with its original retail price, current market status, and secondary market value where appropriate. I am working with Greenbook on this price guide. It will have some wonderful surprises too.
