We just received the following message from Dean:
Dear Charming Tails Collectors and Friends -
This year at the Flaming Fling there will be a number of special items offered from Charming Tails, Dave Grossman and Dean Griff. I just wanted to let everyone know in advance what "the future holds".
I have attached a "sample" of the print that will be offered for sale on Saturday at the Fling. "You're My Favorite Companion" is limited to 300 prints all of which are hand numbered and hand signed. They will sell for $10 (ten dollars) each with part of the proceeds going to the Guide Dogs. There is no limit on the quantity you can purchase (but please keep your fellow collectors in mind) and we will hold 50 of the prints for the afternoon attendees to purchase. At the end of the day any prints left unsold will be destroyed and will never be printed again. This will be your one and only chance to own this print.
There will not be any other "Dean Griff" prints given away or offered for sale at the Flamingo Fling. But there will be at least two framed original pieces of artwork in the Friday Night Charity Auction.
One framed piece of art is the three original concepts for the puppy ornament. This is a framed trilogy, a first for me.
The second framed art is two original color drawings for the "You're The Top Bean" Charming Tails Figurine along with a signed showroom sample of this piece. This will be offered as "one" auction item.
There will also be prototypes in the auction from Charming Tails and Wee Whispers. Also you never know what else we may add between now and the auction. There could be a whole basket of assorted Dean Griff Designed Items from different companies and different years.
On Saturday at the Charming Tails booth they are offering a special figurine, Dave Grossman is offering the two different puppy ornaments and as if that weren't enough you will also have the opportunity to bid on some silent auction items for the charity. We are offering this because not everyone can attend the dinner auction on Friday Night and want everyone to have a chance to own some very special items. There will be a least one original framed piece of artwork from Charming Tails and some Wee Whisper prototypes (hand painted by Dean).
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there and thank all of you in advance for helping with this great charity.
