MYSTERY CRUISERS CONTEST

We know that all of Squashville is abuzz with the Charming Tails cruise next Spring.  The Squashville Social Club will be running a contest in conjunction with the cruise.  The next few issues of News In A Nutshell will feature stories about “MYSTERY CRUISERS,” people who will be on the cruise, but we ain't gonna' tell you who they are!  Then, on the cruise, everyone will have a chance to identify the ten cruisers and win a fantastic prize (Thank, Fitz & Floyd!!).  If you are going on the cruise and want to be one of our ‘Mystery Cruisers,’ just e-mail Susan at jmsmott@aol.com and I will send you a series of questions to answer.  Whether you are picked as a "mystery cruiser" will depend upon the number of responses.  There will also be a contest for members who are not going on the Cruise to guess who the ten "Mystery Cruisers" are!!  (Again - Thanks, Fitz & Floyd!).  So just because you won't be on the Cruise - doesn't mean you can't win!

Here’s our "Mystery Cruiser" #1:

She (now that narrows the field a little) has only ever been on one other cruise and unfortunately got seasick on the first night.  When asked why she’s going, this was her reply: “I have lots of Charming Tail friends and it sounded like it would be a lot of fun.  Being part of a group is a lot more fun than being by yourself”  (Now here’s another tip)  It’ll be a 30^th wedding anniversary trip!!!  She’s never been to New Orleans or Cozumel.  She and her guest will be traveling about 1,300 miles to New Orleans.  One of the questions asked was ‘Have you ever met Dean?’  Her answer was ‘many, many times’!

MONTHLY CRUISE ADVISE ARTICLE

In addition to the contest we will be running a series of cruise-related articles each month. 

We will be sailing on Carnival Cruise Lines’ ship the SENSATION.  Having recently been on a Carnival Cruise, I can tell you they are indeed ‘fun ships’!  There is something for everyone, from eating to sunbathing, dancing, eating, relaxing, playing, eating, shopping, meeting new friends, Vegas-style shows, discovering Cozumel - Oh - did I mention EATING!!  It’s no mystery that eating is one of my favorite pastimes on a cruise and you can find great food at any time of day or NIGHT!  No one eats like a MOUSE on a cruise!  I’d say we could PIG out but don’t want to offend anyone.  I should add that there’s a fitness center to help work off any additional pounds (or justify more eating).
