The Tunnel Of Love debuted at Rosemont in 1999. The musical plays "Let Me Call You Sweetheart." Maxine and Mackenzie's backs are towards one another when they enter the tunnel; when they come out of the tunnel, they are facing each other touching check to check.
A collector reported finding a piece where both acorn boats are the same. Maxine and Mackenzie's backs are towards one another when they enter the tunnel; when they come out of the tunnel, they still have their backs towards one another instead of hugging. This piece gives the appearance that Maxine and Mackenzie are not too happy when they come out of the love tunnel.
