Original selling price: $20.00
Introduced: January 1996
Issued: 1996
Retired: 1999
Stewart's Choo-Choo Ride is the 2nd piece in the train series. In both the 1997 catalogs (p.22 & 23), observant collectors first noticed that the red bow was on the front and back of the roof. In speaking with Dean about this variation he said he designed the bow to be on the back of the roof, not on the front of the roof.
According to a rep at a signing event in 1998, one collector had Dean sign 5 different versions of Stewart's Choo-Choo Ride. We have found 4 of the versions to Stewart's Choo-Choo Ride.
Version # 1 (left top photo) - Bow in back, all berries on garland, eyes are small.
Version # 2 (right photo taken from box photo) - Bow on back, missing left and right top berry on garland, elongated eyes.
Version # 3 (left 2nd photo) - Bow on front, missing left top berry on garland, eyes elongated.
Version # 4 (right 2nd photo from 1999 catalog p. 25) - Bow on front, all berries on garland, eyes are small.
