Life Is A Bed Of Roses is the Artist Signature piece for 1998. To purchase this figurine, collectors had to buy one other piece (purchase with purchase). The dewdrop falling from the rose is acrylic and the color of the roses varies from red to dark pink.
The stem was changed to a pliable one after five of the seven prototypes (made with hard stems) broke in their initial shipment. The pliable stem is more durable. The hang tag and box calls this piece Life A Bed Of Roses instead of Life Is A Bed Of Roses.
