Collectors report finding 5 different versions of There's No "Us" without "U".  Four of the variations have the paw mark; the other variation is a photo from the box.  In the 5 variations, Binkey is found in different positions on the piece, but Maxine is always in the same position.  Binkey looks like he is individually glued to the base rather than molded like Maxine.  This might be an explanation as to why Binkey is found in many different positions.

It appears that at some point, the mold to There's No "Us" Without "U" might have been changed.  In some versions, Binkey appears to be heavier and taller; and his ears are longer and wider.  Bunnie is heavier and has a larger size block and 2 different sized flowers on her head.  The overall texture of the rabbits is also different.

Some boxes for There's No "Us" without "U" have a typo.  The box has the label: There's No "U" without "Us" (the "U" and "US" are transposed).

                              Version # 1                                               Version # 2

Version #1 & 2  -  Both these versions are Scooter's pieces.  You can see the heavier Maxine in Version # 1 compared to Version # 2. Maxine's block is larger in Version # 1 than in Version #2.   However, I have noticed on Scooter's pieces that the taller heavier Binkey with longer ears is on her Version # 2 with the smaller Maxine.  The smaller Binkey is on Scooter's version # 1 with the larger Maxine.  I've always seen the large on the same piece rather than one large vs. smaller.

BACK VIEW

Back View  -  The photos with the back views show Binkey's tail almost at the flower near the edge of the base in one view and then again his tail is near the block in the next.

Version # 3

Version # 4

Version # 3 & 4 - These are good examples of Binkey's positioning on the piece.  In Version # 3, notice how far back his foot is, almost next to the second flower.  In Version # 4 his foot is near the front flower.

On my Version # 3, the flower on Maxine's head is twice the size of any version shown.  Both bunnies are large; however, on version # 4 Maxine has a small flower on her head.

Box Photo
Version # 5  -  Maxine has no flower on her head.
