A TREASURE OF MEMORIES

98/224  A Treasure of Memories

Open House Event Piece 2000
Original selling price: $18.00
Introduced: 2000
Issued: 2000

A Treasure Of Memories was the 2000 Open House Event piece.  The Open House Event was held at most retail stores on October 14th and 15th.  As in previous Open House Events, each dealer received one pre-signed figurine called the "Signature Series."

The second row of photos show 2 different backstamps.  The photo on the left is the Copyright backstamp and the photo on the right is referred to as the "Signature Series" because of the special signature.

It was only after a collector noticed that her stamp mark was different that we learned that F & F did something special to an additional 100 pieces.  When they did the special backstamp of 2,800 pieces called the "Signature Series" shown in the right photo, 100 pieces were done with a printed copyright stamp (shown in the left photo).  The copyright stamp is truly rare, as there are only 100 pieces with this stamp mark.

Below in the left photo is a picture of the postcard F & F sent to Leaf & Acorn Club members.  It announces the Open House Event on Oct. 14th and 15th.  The postcard looks exactly like the full page ad they had in the Collector's Mart magazine in October.   On the postcard Stewart's name is spelled Stuart.

In the bottom right photo is a dealer displayer to advertise the Open House Event in their store.  The card is covered in plastic and measures "10" X "15."
