In the 1996 catalog (p. 18) the flowers on the base are pink and white.  My own piece (photo on right) has the flowers pink and white.  There is no bottom stamp mark on my piece.  The base is painted gold with an affixed white hand written label showing the item number (possible sample).  

In the left photo is Scooter's piece with an acorn mark.  The flowers on her base are red instead of pink like mine.  All the catalogs from 1997 to 2000  show the piece with the red flowers instead of pink.
