MACKENZIE'S BUBBLE RIDE

87/192 Mackenzie's Bubble Ride

Original selling price: $13.00
Introduced: January 1994
Issued: 1994
Retired: 1996

This piece has been found with limited edition numbers and with no numbers.   It was not intended to be a limited edition piece.  The factory made an error,  and some of the ornaments were numbered.

Another factory error resulted in the leaf being glued in different positions:
    1)  unnumbered with stem to right
    2)  unnumbered with stem to left
    3)  numbered with stem to left
    4)  numbered with stem to right

During the Q & A part of the 98 Edison seminar,  a collector asked Dean if he knew of these variations.  Dean said he didn't know but thanked the collector for watching the collection so closely.

The ball is made out of glass and the leaf is glued to the bottom of the ball.  Over time the glue dries out, and the leaf may fall off.  I suggest you do not place anything valuable under the ornament when you display it.
