One version of Binkey In A Bed Of Flowers has dark, almost black leaves.  On the other version, the leaves are green.

The "black leaf" version shown in the left photo, has the bottom painted white and has a gold Silvestri sticker.  Lydia Ladybug is red-brown with white spots.  The "green leaf" version shown in the right photo, has the Charming Tails logo, piece name, and an acorn stamp on the bottom.  Lydia Ladybug is red with black spots.

The "black leaf" version appears in the 1997 and 1998 catalogs, and the "green leaf" version appears in the 1996 catalog.  Michelle commented she thought it odd because the "black leaf" version has no bottom stamp and is probably the older of the two pieces for it to be appearing in the 97/98 catalog.

I think that in the 96 catalog they photographed the piece with an acorn mark (green leaf).  There were some minor changes in color production compared to the earlier 95 release.  Later, F & F did a photo retake for the 97catalog using the older "black leaf" version.  As you can clearly see by comparing the catalogs, in 96 there is snow around the piece vs. no snow in the 97 catalog, giving us a good indication they are different photos.

There also is the unconfirmed possibility that there could have been a color variation with the 95 GCC early release vs. the regular retail release in 96.
