March 6, 2004 It has been announced that there will be two special ornaments designed by Dean available at the Fling. For more info, check the Flamingo Fling web site. There will be a special Signing Event piece, called "I'll Find My Way to You". AND - there will be FOUR variations of this piece - one for each of the 4 Signing Events. Each piece will have different color versions of the sign post. Also - in Mackenzie's hand is a flyer, which will include the name of the location of each Signing Event. If you can't make it to all 4 events, contact your fellow collectors, let them know which event you are going to and arrange to trade for the ones you can't get to!

May 1, 2004 - 1PM - 4PM So far, we've only heard that there will be Spring and Fall exclusives available. Also - Carltons will have a special version of "The Season of Peace" (87/135) - the Abbey Press exclusive with Mackenzie tending to a lion and lamb. Instead of the snow base, the special version will have sand, which matches the new Nativity Set. We're sure there will be more news after the first of the year, so stay tuned!

May 15, 2004 This will be the first of the three "Regional Family Picnics" to be held this year. To attend, you will first need to purchase the figurine "Family Picnic" - which contains the "2004 Picnic Reservation" form OR you can print it out from the Fitz & Floyd web site. It cost $40.00 per person to attend, IF you want the special picnic exclusive "Watermelon Feast". You can attend the picnic without getting the "Watermelon Feast" piece - cost is $20.00. If you will not be attending any of the three picnics, you can order "Watermelon Feast" (using the Reservation Form), however, the piece will not ship until around September 2004, they will NOT be signed by Dean (like the ones at the Picnics will be) and there is limited availability. |
June 12, 2004 European Imports will be the third Signing Event this year. They, too, will have their own version of the Signing Event piece "I'll Find My Way to You". Be sure to check out their web site for more information. |

June 19, 2004 This is the first of seven special "Character Events" being held around the U.S. Each store will feature a new "Early Introduction" of a figurine featuring the newest resident of Squashville - a PIG! Only collectors who attend one (or more!) of these Events will have an opportunity to submit names for Pig. One winning entry will be selected by Dean and announced on December 1st. That winner will win samples of all seven new pieces, signed by Dean! There will also be a Grand Prize Drawing for one lucky Leaf & Acorn Club member for a FREE TRIP for two on the 2005 Charming Tails Cruise!! But you can ONLY register for this fantastic prize at one of the Character Events! So be sure to get there! |

October 9 & 10, 2004 G&L Christmas Barn will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a very special Signing Event on October 9th and a second event (to be announced) the next day! We've been told that all those attending the "event" on the 10th will be getting a very rare and Exclusive piece! More details as they are announced! G&L will be the
fourth (and final!) Signing Event this year. They will have their own version
of the Signing Event piece "I'll Find My Way to You". |
